About Иосиф Самойлович Беленький
Йосиф, как и его братя, боролся на стороне красных. Он искренне верил в идеалы большевиков. К 1930 поняв к чему привела революция, осознав весь ужас ситуации, он написал записку в которой пытался объяснить абсурд и жуть того что происходило. Три года спустя он застрелился*. Его жена, писательница Тамара Константиновна Леонтьева, считала что он был убит. На момент смерти являлся директором Уралмашзавода (самый большой и до сегодняшнего дня завод России и СССР), член правительства СССР, генерал (комкор)
- Thanks to his grandson, Aleksandr, who has found the paperwork in the national archives, we now know that he was murdered. Most of his colleagues were also later repressed (executed or jailed for a long time). The reason was that talented people like him knew what was going on in the country and wanted more autonomy from Federal government and KGB in particular to ensure that factories like UralMash, of which he was made director (CEO in modern terms) would not fall into stagnation. Inteligencia was at war with KGB for control of modes of production. For obvious reasons KGB won. (the same thing happened again in RF in the 90's and 2000's with the arrival of Putin)
