The Second District/Second Division of the Missouri State Guard was formed from tropps from the counties of Scotland, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Shelby, Marion, Monroe, Ralls, Pike, Audrain, Callaway, Montgomery, Lincoln, Warren, and St. Charles, and was led by Thomas A. Harris and Martin E. Green.
