3rd Battalion, Mississippi Infantry

The 3rd Bn. Mississippi Infantry was at one time known as the 33rd and the 45th Mississippi Infantry. It was consolidated with the 32nd Miss. Infantry and after the loss of many of its men it was again renamed the 3rd Bn. Mississippi Infantry.
