  • Peter Dupas, Melbourne based serial killer who killed several times upon release from prison. Peter's case is well known in law, as he had attempted to appeal that due to the previous convictions, that for his third charge, due to pre-trial publicity and the notion that it would be impossible to have a fair trial. His appeal was subsequently dismissed, as it was ruled that it could be overcome by the judge giving the jury adequate direction.
