Bamberg County, established in 1897 and named after a local resident, William Seaborn Bamberg (1820-1858), is a county located in the U.S. state of South Carolina. As of the 2020 census, the population was 13,311, making the rural county the fourth-least populous of any in South Carolina. Its county seat is Bamberg.
