What is known: Benjamin was born 1807 in Pennsylvania He married Ann Tullos in 1838 Benjamin and Ann moved to Kansas in 1857 Benjamin died in Rantoul, Franklin County KS in 1858
What is guessed: James Seymour, born 1777 in England, may have been his father. The two appeared to be neighbors in the 1840 Ohio census. James Seymour was married to Susannah (or perhaps Susan) who was born either 1788 or 1790 depending on which census you look at. James and Susan had several other children, the oldest of which are only slightly younger than Benjamin. So far, I haven't had any success confirming Benjamin's parentage one way or another.
