This subportal is part of the State of New Hampshire Portal and the Cemeteries, Memorials & Graveyards Portal.
Within the 234 towns and cities that make up the State of New Hampshire, there are approximately 549 cemeteries. These range from small, private family burying grounds with only a few graves to large public cemeteries covering hundreds of acres with hundreds of thousands of graves.
This project serves as a place to 1) discuss New Hampshire cemetery research and 2) work on subprojects for individual cemeteries in the state.
Instead of us having to continually and manually update this overview to list all projects we have on Geni for New Hampshire cemeteries, this subportal uses Geni's built-in "Related Projects" feature.
You can find our list of "Related Projects" either at the right of this page (if you are on a desktop/laptop) or beneath this overview as you scroll down (if you are on a mobile device).
To add a cemetery project to our list, simply click the "edit" link at the upper right of the list and type in the project's name. Geni will then automatically connect the projects to each other.
Two important practice notes:
If we follow these two guidelines, we will maintain a clean, easy-to-browse list of New Hampshire cemeteries for all to use!
