The pet cemetery adjoins Curlew Hills Memory Gardens and is under the same management as the human one.
The pet cemetery is truly held to the same standards as grounds for humans.
Additionally, should an owner want to be laid to rest with their pet, and choose cremation, they have that option. There are already several people already buried with their pets (only people who get cremated may do so at this cemetery).
Pets however can have a regular burial or the other alternatives.
There are cremation niches and earthen burials too. One section of the cemetery, they call Garden of Heroes, is where all the Pinellas County k-9 deputies are buried. This section is for all service dogs, not only the ones in law enforcement.
