Cycadia Cemetery was founded in the late 1800's, originally spanning a 30 acre site, and is scheduled for expansion. It is one of the few cemeteries with a significant amount of ornate, unique headstones of the Greek Orthodox community. Cycadia Cemetery has been classified as a Traditional Cultural Property (TGP) in the National Register of Historic Places.
The cemetery grounds are open from sunrise to sunset, with staff hours from Monday-Friday 8am - 4:30pm (excluding holidays). The cemetery is managed by the city of Tarpon Springs. For record requests, contact the Tarpon Springs City Clerk's office at (727) 942-5614
