Police Gazette Wednesday 4th November 1896
Deserting the barque "Euphrates",at Bunbury, on the 6th inst. Dated Bunbury, 7th November, 1896.- A reward of £2 is offered for the arrest of each of these deserters.
- G. GUSTAF JOHNSEN, seaman, slight build, age 24. years. height 5ft. 6in., light hair, small moustache only, sharp nose, oval visage, fair complexion, native of Sweden
- A . LARSEN, seaman, broad and stout build, age 26 years, height 5ft. 6in., light hair, thin moustache only, nose inclined to be pug-shaped, flat visage, fair complexion, native of Sweden
Deserted the barque "Carte Blanche" at Fremantle on the 8th inst. Dated Fremantle, 9th November: 1896.- A reward of £5 is offered for the arrest of each of these deserters.
- MARTIN J. LARSEN. seaman, medium build, age 21 years height 5ft. 5 or 6in., brown hair, smooth face, blue eyes, round visage, very ruddy complexion, native of Norway, speaks very little English
- OLE J. GULBRANDSON, medium build, age 19 years, height 5ft. 7in., fair hair, blue eyes, medium visage, fair complexion, native of Norway, speaks very little English
