The purpose of this project is to collect all of the profiles of displaced persons or Holocaust Survivors who were residents of the Eckernförde Displaced Persons Camp. This camp was located in Eckernförde, Germany.
History of the camp
After the Second World War a United Nations displaced persons camp for Estonians was located near Eckernförde, where a section of the Hohenstein mansion was converted into a maternity ward.
