The FIA Hall of Fame honours Formula One car drivers, technicians and engineers, who have greatly contributed to Formula One racing. It was established by Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in 2017.

2017 Mike Hawthorn United Kingdom, Formula One World Champion 1958, 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, 1955. De gentleman, die altijd racete met een bow tie voor, schreef in 1958 als eerste Brit het wereldkampioenschap Formule 1 op zijn naam. Hawthorn won echter maar één Grand Prix, te weten de Franse, op het circuit Reims-Gueux. Landgenoot en eeuwige tweede Stirling Moss zegevierde liefst viermaal, maar kwam bij de eindafrekening één punt tekort.
2017 Phil Hilll United States, Formula One World Champion, 1961, 3-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, 1958, 1961, 1962 Phil Hill won the world championship driving for Ferrari in 1961, becoming the first American to do so, later to be followed only by Mario Andretti. But Hill remains to date the only native-born American to win the title.

2017 Jochen Rindt Austria, Formula One World Champion,1970, 24 Hours of Le Mans winner. 1965. He is the only driver to posthumously win the Formula One World Drivers' Championship (in 1970), after being killed in practice for the Italian Grand Prix.at Monza.

To date, he remains the only driver ever to win the Indianapolis 500 (1969), Daytona 500 (1967) and the Formula One World Championship, and, along with Juan Pablo Montoya, the only driver to have won a race in the NASCAR Cup Series, Formula One, and an Indianapolis 500.
