2017 Mike Hawthorn United Kingdom, Formula One World Champion 1958, 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, 1955. De gentleman, die altijd racete met een bow tie voor, schreef in 1958 als eerste Brit het wereldkampioenschap Formule 1 op zijn naam. Hawthorn won echter maar één Grand Prix, te weten de Franse, op het circuit Reims-Gueux. But Hill remains to date the only native-born American to win the title.

2017 Jochen Rindt Austria, Formula One World Champion,1970, 24 Hours of Le Mans winner. 1965. He is the only driver to posthumously win the Formula One World Drivers' Championship (in 1970), after being killed in practice for the Italian Grand Prix.at Monza.

To date, he remains the only driver ever to win the Indianapolis 500 (1969), Daytona 500 (1967) and the Formula One World Championship, and, along with Juan Pablo Montoya, the only driver to have won a race in the NASCAR Cup Series, Formula One, and an Indianapolis 500.
