Church

In 1849 the Assembly decided to build a new church because the old medieval wooden church become too small. The new church was built in neo-Gothic style designed by the architect Professor Fr W Scholander. Builder Jonas Jonsson. The new church was inaugurated in 1857. Some fixtures are preserved from the old church, including the triumphal crucifix and an iron-bound door. The triumph crucifix is ​​probably from the 1300s. It was probably made by the same sculptor who made the crucifix in Linköping Cathedral.
