This Garcia family originated in the ancient middle east with a long line of royal rabbis and petty kings. They eventually moved into what would now be called Portugal, colonized in Mexico in the 1700s, and are spread far and wide. The more recent generations have frequently adoptive children which makes lateral exploration of those branches interesting and difficult.
The Owari clan are Canadian Mohawk. Their history is more difficult and involves capture of native brides.
These two families come together in the late 1960s.
This project explores both blood and in-law relationships.
