This project seeks to collect all the German Jewish Emigrés who arrived to Ecuador between 1933-1940.

During the years 1933-43 about 2,700 Jews arrived from Europe to Ecuador, and by 1945 there were 3,000 new Jewish immigrants, 85% of whom were refugees from Europe.

Up until today, the vast majority of the Ecuadorian Jewish Community is of German descent.
