In November 1699 a complete list of inhabitants of the town Wesenberg (Rakvere) in Swedish Estonia was created (Ex Protokollo Judicij Wesenbergensis sub 23 November A°. 1699). This was the last list of inhabitants created before the town was burned down by Russian troops in 1703.

A transkript of this list was published in the article "Lisandusi Rakvere ajaloole Rootsi aja lõpul" in Ajalooline Ajakiri 3, 1927. This projects charts the inhabitants of Wesenberg/Rakvere who were listed in this document.
