This project seeks to document the Jewish families the village of Želeč (Seltsch) in municipality Měcholupy in the district Louny in the Usti region, Bohemia.
In 1812, the Jews of Seltsch/Želeč - namely Gottlieb Hönig, Israel Löbl, Markus Löbl, Abraham Löbl, Abraham Wambach, and Markus Lilling - ceded their six seats in the prayer house of Michelob/Měcholupy to its Jewish community and established their own prayer house in Seltsch/Želeč.
