This project seeks to list representatives of all of the Jewish families from the Moravian town of Jemnice (Jamnitz) in the Czech Republic.
The Jemnice Jewish town was one of the oldest in Moravia. The prime reference comes from 1336. The former Jewish district lies in the southern part of the town centre, and connects the Liberty square and Havlíček square. The oldest tombstone in the Jewish graveyard comes from the 17th century.
