This project seeks to list representatives of all of the Jewish families from the Moravian town of Znojmo (Znaim) in the Czech Republic.
The new cemetery was founded in 1868, because the old one was destroyed after Jews were expelled. In 1869 there were buried the bones found in the place of the old cemetery – the grave is marked by an obelisk. The cemetery is going to be reduced and a museum of the more valuable tombstones will be established on the remaining area.
