This project seeks to document the Jewish families of Linz, Austria, and others in Upper Austria.

This project will follow the same pattern as the project for the Jewish Community of Graz, Styria, Austria (Steiermark, Österreich) and related projects.

Another project will cover prisoners in Upper Austria during the Holocaust.

To participate, please ask to be added to the project.
1) Create family trees of Jewish families residing in the area.
2) Add the earliest people in each family with a relationship to Upper Austria directly to the project
3) Add Holocaust victims, survivors, and emigrants directly to the project.

If you have access to the Linz Jewish records and would like to participate, please contact Benjamin C. Schoenbrun.
