Strašice is a village and municipality (obec) in Rokycany District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of 7.92 square kilometres (3.06 sq mi), and has a population of 2,438 (as at 3 July 2006). Strašice lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) east of Rokycany, 28 km (17 mi) east of Plzeň, and 62 km (39 mi) south-west of Prague.
