I am trying to find out more about my father's maternal grandfather, John Gourley Hamilton.
I was able to obtain information about him through his wife - Gurtruida Hamilton's born van Toerin< death certificate which just states that he died in World War 1 and that Gurtruida was a war widow receiving a widow's pension.
I would like to pursue his genealogy going further than him. I have no information further than this death certificate. If anyone can find more information, I would greatly appreciate it.
