This project is attempting to link the various Bohemian and Moravian branches of the ha'Kōhănīm from Choustnik, Tábor District, South Bohemian Region, Czechia.
The first registered in the books is Baruch haKohen born approximately in 1700 in Choustník
Baruch Ha'Kohn
He had at least two sons:
Isak Stern and Samuel Kohn.
Kohen (Hebrew: כֹּהֵן, kōhēn, [ko%CB%88(h)en], "priest", pl. כֹּהֲנִים, kōhănīm, [ko%CB%88(h)anim], "priests") is the Hebrew word for "priest", used in reference to the Aaronic priesthood, also called Aaronites or Aaronides. Kohanim are traditionally believed and halakhically required to be of direct patrilineal descent from the biblical Aaron (Aharon), brother of Moses.
The descendants, which spread from South Bohemia all over the world. All with an interest in this family are welcome to join this project.

Isak Stern moved to nearby Pohnani (21km from Choustnik) and worked in Cheynow (12km from Choustnik, 10km from Pohnani)
Samuel Kohn continued to live in Choustnik
While Isak's branch is detailed and extensive, we know little about his brother Samuel Kohn, only his children. Hopefully this project will bring more information on Samuel's branch.
