Overview of Family History / Progenitor Details

It appears that some branches of the family descended from Lukas Koertzen in the late-1700's to mid-1800's. Lukas and his family migrated to South Africa in the mid-1800's from the Netherlands (after the birth of his son in 1833). Due to naming conventions in the Netherlands, the earlier path has currently been lost at this point.
