Who can join the McAtee DNA Project?

~ Direct descendants of a McAtee ancestor who have had DNA tests from Family Tree DNA or have transferred their results to Family Tree DNA ~

Kits from Ancestry which were processed after May 2016 are not completely compatible with the Family Finder Kit at Family Tree DNA. If you are interested in genealogy research. This causes a loss of distant generation matches (about 4th cousin to more distant). So I strongly recommend that you get tested directly with the Family Finder test.
