Parents of Jonas Beer Levy

Jonas Beer Levy lived in Landsberg an der Warthe, (now Gorzov Wielkipolski, Poland) in 1860, when his son, my grandfather, Ludwig Levy was born in 1860. But who were Jonas Beer Levy's parents and where were they born, lived and died? According to Jonas' name, I assume, that his fathers name was Beer Levy. Perhaps the difficulties finding them (and their parents, sieblings) has to do with the many ways of writing the Levy name. In my fathers papers, I have seen him writing his own lastname as Levy, Levi and Levÿ! I will be very happy for any help. Anette Friedberg Denmark
