This is the cemetery of the matriarch Eliza Shelton Dean Pillow who has what is believed to be the only marked stone in this cemetery though hers is without a complete inscription. Another stone has been seen in the past, and may be present & found with a little investigation.
Other family members believed to be buried here in unmarked or at least with lost gravestones are:
SHELTON, Stephen Jr. (Father of Eliza & Susan Shelton)
CHAMBERS, Susan Shelton (sister of Eliza)
CHAMBERS, Jefferson (husband of Susan Shelton)
CHAMBERS, Edward C., 1841 - 1900 (brother of Jefferson?)
PILLOW, (son of W.E. & E. E. Pillow (son of W.E. & Eliza E. Pillow)
Possibly W.E. Pillow husband of Eliza Shelton is buried here also. Could this be the W.F. Pillow 1824-1863 buried up the road in Mt Moriah Cemetery?

The above location is correctly marked as per the instructions of Malinda and is beginning just west of the barn shown in the Aerial view. per CWA 30 Jul 2013
