Hi all,

My name is Radmila, I was born and raised in Czech Republic and live currently in Munich, Germany. I speak fluent Czech, German and English, also some other languages, but rather broken :)

I started this project to collect all the informations about the Mahler family, which is not only famous for some blood relatives like Gustav Mahler ( https://gustav-mahler.org and https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustav_Mahler ) but also for the Polaroid co-inventor Josef Mahler (did you know? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vectograph ).

Also, my still living blood relative Dr. Zdenek Mahler, a well known screenwriter and movie director, who has done (among others) an awarded movie "Lidice" (Engl. Fall of the innocent) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lidice_(film). This movie tells the story of the village Lidice, its totally destruction during the WW II and the mass execution and deportations of its citizens (because of the assassination of Heydrich and the Gestapo investigation that followed).

So far, so famous, but please don't get me wrong - not only the "VIPs" are interesting, but literally everybody in the Mahler family!

I just discovered Geni a couple of days ago. As you can imagine, I am very curious about everything regarding the Mahler family.

If you have some more documents or information, please feel free to share. I am more than happy to work with you to find out more!

Radmila
