This project hopes to dispel the mystery behind Frederick Pace of Wales, who came to this country with his wife, Elizabeth, and their five children, William, John, Dillie, Anna and Dempsey. There is a lot of speculation as to whom Frederick was...an exposed Tory traitor or just a man and his family coming to the new world.
Two camps exist on this topic, there's the family bible and word of mouth stories, the Rev. T.H. Ball accounts and then there is Bruce Howard's account published in his 1998 book.
Hopefully, some evidence will turn up as a result of this project to exonerate Frederick of being a Tory and help find out what happened to sisters Dillie and Anna Pace.
