The Ghetto Swingers were a jazz band organized in the Nazi ghetto Theresienstadt. The Jewish prisoners organized in the ghetto a lively cultural scene including jazz music. On 28 September, 1944, the Ghetto Swingers participated in the Nazi propaganda film “Theresienstadt: A Documentary Film from the Jewish Settlement Area” which is known under its erroneous name “The Fuehrer gave the Jews a city.”
