The Aisin Gioro clan, or simply known as Gioro in the early period, is the ruling family of the Qing Dynasty.
The Emperors and their close kinsmen (近支宗室) have Chinese-style names. Starting with Kangxi's sons, their names follow the Chinese practice of "generation name," i.e., the first character being identical across a generation.
The generation names of Kangxi's direct descendants are:
胤弘 永綿奕載 溥毓恆啟
In addition, the second characters for those closest to the main line share the following radicals:
礻日 玉心訁氵 亻山釒
respectively.
