Official name of Beaulés' canadian ancestor was Lazare Bolley, soldier in New-France. This family surname was transmitted to his sole son, Jacques Bolley, who did not transmit it to his family of nine children as he did not know how to write. These nine children were registered to local school of St-Henri de Lévis as Beaulé's, which is a kind of approximate pronunciation. Source: School Records, 1795 to 1803. This family surname was then learned and used as such by following generations. Note: A similar surname does exist in France but has no parental connection with the canadian surname Beaulé.
