James Borrowdale was in Hampton, Elizabeth City County, Virginia in 1793. He died there in 1795. He had borrowed money from Thomas Jones Jr and was having trouble paying it back, He had every intention to pay it. James died in 1795 and left a widow Anne Rosetta Borrowdale. She went back to court and it seems from the records of Elizabeth City County Thomas Jones Jr released her of any of the monies she owed. That is as far as I have found at this time.
