About the Boulogne surname

Boulogne / Bononia and Bologna / Bononia in France and Italy respectively both are foundations of peoples labelled as Gauls ,as in the latters' language Bona means something like foundation .

It is likely though ,that Parthian kings having tha name Bonón are not independent from events that had resulted in the emerge of these localities . Such was for example a predecessor of Gondophar of Indo-Skythia called also Bonón ,wherefor in modern historiography the previous has often been referred to as Godefroy of Boulogne . He acted,as it is known ,in the fights form Hierosolyma about the early 30s counted by Norsemen as 1095s according to their aera of beginning in 1065 b.c..

Another Bonón belonged to the kinship of Óródés ( Wooroo-Dayawa ) ,who may be the ancestor of Wununbul , that is Woonoon-Bul tribe in Australia ,whereas Óródés himself might have related tribes called either Dyawuru or Dyawurungari ( Daya-Wooroo-Ungari ) as issue .

Boulogne / Bononia thus might be anmed after of any of these kings or of their common namesake Bool-Woonoon .
