I don't know the meaning of the name CHERIAN but it has some relation to our genealogy. I got the name CHERIAN because my father's name was CHERIAN. My father got this name because my father's grandfather's name was ZACHARIA. My Grant Father was named as Thomas and added shortened the name Zacharia to CHERIAN. I think the names Zacharia or Scaria was very popular among ancient christians due to popular Biblical Names.
CHERIAN has again shortened or modified in modern times as CHERI, CHERYL, CHERIE, CHERISE, CHERILYN, CHERICE, CHERIYAN etc.
The sum of alphabetical order of letters in CHERIAN is 58 and this makes CHERIAN arithmetic buddies with words like Credible, Adorable, Ethical, Star, Tidy, Fragile.
