Dadiani family according to own trasition descends from Persian king Kyros and got its name of king David of Hiero-Solyma of whom Ibérians in general descend .
Indeed,the latter was correctly called Ed-Daya-(Wa)-Da and from this form Dadiani version can easily be explained : Da-Ed-Daya-ani . Not only they,but also Dadio tribe in Sudan might have been named so because of the same origin ;
some of the king's descendants might have ruled Dagur and Mongol tribes in the Asian parts of the Holy Land - called with a general term Gal-Arga-Da - ,and Dagu and Mongo tribes in Africa might have been brought from there during the exilation by Assyrians .
A closer reason for taking this name of for the family might also have been a knowledge of a descendance from Datian king of Persia somewhen about the 80s corresponding to the 300s according to a Parthian aera that began in 220 b.c.. He of course,could easily be a late descendant of Kyros . Kyros may be identical with Kawa ,the smith,who issued some of the chiefs of Kurd people,whose name , may anyway mean Kawa-Urd . Ibérians claimed descendance with the kings wife Battesh-Abagha whose name is until this day preserved in the ethnonym Batsbi or Batsban ( Battesabagha-an ).Their language is similar to Arawak languages spoken in Peru and Bolivia ,mainly to Ashaninka and Matsiganka .
Allegedly they moved from Hiero-Solyma near river Solyma to their place some 200-300 years b.c.. Most likely under the leadership of Pharnabaz ( ruled c. 276-220 ) who may well be identical with the first Arshak ,king Asokhai of Aigypt and India who got after the conquer of Hiero-Solyma about 253 b.c. also the name Hierón . His father might have been Samaros,called in teh Byble Ash-Shan-Mar-Gawa-Ha ,and mother a Persian noble woman,where he might have got his Persian name from .Perhaps a daughter of Pharnabaz son of Artabaz from the royal family .
