my great,great,great grandfather Daniel Kerwan was born in wexford,Ireland in 1827,he his wife Mary Anne with my great great grandfather Patrick Aloysious Kerwan born in Tiperery Ireland Sept 1859 and his infant brother Jeremiah John Kerwan immigrated in 1861 on the Coldstream II to South Africa and settled in Simons Town Cape Town. My Great,great Grandfather helped to establish Vincent du Paul a catholic church. He married Bridget Ann Bligh. she passed away around 1908 and him 1925. Children of their union is Frances Mary Kerwan married Major Joseph Stanley Garrett, Marita Winifred Kerwan married Major Edward Harding,Daniel Aloysius Kerwan married Lilian Frances Hylton, Lieutenant William Joseph McCullagh married Cecelia Kerwan
