The city itself might be named after the ancient Ki'i from Polynesia ,whose people was deported into Europe by Assyrians and Babylonians ,so that it become the capital of the region . Later Scandinavians arrived to catch the power over it,successfully done ,and founded the Rus of Kyev .

This is associated with Rurik and his household ,who was in fact from the Deichiut dynasty that ruled Mongols too in Asia and Europe . To that dynasty might have belonged persons of Gay'-Rusa called in the local Mordvin folk tradition ,Dubolgo and Siyazhar too ,whereas the latter's name might also express an origin from the Izhora region inhabited also by Svea peoples : Svea-Izhera .

So,Kinker might originally been a Ki'i-Inker ,that is an Izhor from Kyev .
