According to several books I have real on the derivation of the name Lessure, was LECHTZER, in the Ukraine, It seems to me that it is a Yiddish name as "licht" means candle as in shabbes candles - lighting the Shabbes licht. The book, and it is available at the JGSLA meetings, says that Lechtzerr means candle maker.
