One thing that must be said is that there is a Chateauneuf de Randon in the South West of France. Our Branch of the family believe that we left there when it was attacked. Our part of the Randon family settled in the East Midlands of England and seem to have been in Kegworth Leicestershire from (perhaps) the 14th C. There are mentions of Randons after this again in Kegworth, but then things are silent until we appear in the 17th C, marrying in Hathern. There is then a presence of Randons in Hathern and other villages nearby. Keith Randon 6 March 2019
