Sandland Genealogy and Sandland Family History Information

The Sandland family name has multiple branches that do not seem to be connected.

1. Sandlands in the UK - more info to come.
2. Sandland families with origin in Telemark, Norway (a few farms with the Sandland name)
3. A small village in Loppa county in the north of Norway.

The Telemark family has been spread extensively across the world. Many migrated to the US in the early 1900s. There are also some in Australia from this branch - my grandfather who migrated from Norway to Australia in the late 60s.
