Tofa or - in plural - Tofalar tribe in Siberia is regarded as the successors of the once mighty Tuba people in and around China . They ,together with the rest of peoples called Chile or Gaoche in China might have arrived thereto from Chile and from places where Gauchos have ever lived . The town of Antofagasta in Chile preserves until now the name of the Tofas originating in And-Tofa-Gast-Ta referring to Tofas in the Andes from the city or country called Taugast founded by Alexander during his campaign in Asia or in America . This place is identified with the one later named Tabgach too .
Tobas,also in Argentina as well as in their Chinese Wei Empire,might finally descend from Ayar Toba Gochi ,brother of Manko Khapak Inka,who founded dynasty in Cuzco,as iti is known. Mentioned Tabgach is also named after him : Tob'-Goch . Tobayara,that is Toba-Ayara people in Brazil among Tupys may also descend from him . Meanwhile some from Chile are recorded in Scandinavia as Gauthigoth ,pronounced Gautshi-Gotsh , who are the Gaucho and the Toba .
Toba leaders are also known as kings of the Vesi-Goth ,for example Daowudi Toba-Guai ,who is Alarik,and his successor Thaiwudi identical with Theoderik of Hispania and Gallia .
