Vaida surname comes from the family lived in Bhadras, Pratappur in Distt. Kanpur U.P. It was told that the GOTRA Kashyap is for all the Kayastha but for Vaidya family it is Pratappuriya Vaidya. Two Brothers Chiman Lal & Girdhari Lal came out of village Bhadras & from there surname like Nirgun, Sinha & Satyawadi was ADOPTED BY SONS OF SRI GORE LAL. This was confirmed by Vaidya Chachi living in Bhopal.
