Where did the first Nutzmann originate?The first Nutzmann was an honored estate holder,a Herr von......?(Herr Phillip von Nutz)He was born the end of 1600 or the beginning of 1700. His name was Phillip von Nutz.He lived on the nobleman'"s estate "Kasike"by Demmin,in Pommerania.(Kaeseke Lindenhof).He reached a very advanced age of 116 years,and had 9 sons.It is notknow if he had daughters.He was married three times in his lifetime.The last time he was 70 years old.And with his last wife he had children even in his advanced years.The man had to experience dreadful war times.Through that he was heavily in debt.The fruits of the fields were given over to the soldiers and everything was trampled or destroyed.He was a poor man after the enemy left.Nothing was left his but his family and his title (Adel?(which means nobleman). More story about von Nutz: Herr:Phillip von Nutz,witch may name mean (Sir Phillip von Nutz). Born abt.1700 and died at 116 years of age abt.1816. He changed the name to Nutzmann to pay off debts after his property was destroyed,by soldiers.He was married 3 times and had 9 sons but no daughters are mentioned. Oldest son was born abt.1730,Left Pomerania to avoid being a soldier ans settled at Rappin on the island of RÜGEN where he worked for a minister.He was a servant and then at the age of 18 ore 19 he was the coachmen and finally overseer of the ministers estate. Unnamed son was born abt:1755.He took his fathers position as coachmen and then manager.He had 7 sons First son unnamed born abt 1780.It is possible that he was married to Dorothea:whose name appears as a witnes on the birth certificate of Christoph Heinrich Theodore Nutzmann dated 7/21/1816. He became a coach man but after foot problems he became a tailor. He was sent to seminary to learn enough to be a Sexton at Rappin. Sexton(office)=a church or synagogue officer charged with the maintenance of the church buildings and/or the surrounding graveyard and ringing of the church bells. Unnamed youngest son but known from1816 Baptismal document to be Johann Christoph Nutzmann 1785-abt.1830. He learned the blacksmith trade.He was of the Evangelical religion and lived in Karnitz and was married to Juliana Fredericka Hermann. They had 1 daughter and 3 sons. Sophie married a shoemaker in Rappin and had no children. Carl Nutzmann was born abt:1811 and died 10/29/1902 at 91and half years of age. From letters dated:9/27/1894, 9/14/1902 and 11/2/1902. Daughter in Berlin born abt 1836.Perhaps her name was Johanna Russow letter dated 9/27/1894) Fritz Nutzmann born abt.1813.Possible his son was Wilhelm.(letter dated 6/29/1897) Christoph Heinrich Theodore 7/21/1816-5/19/1897,was a blacksmith ,he married Christina Sophia Maria Bollow 7/19/1813-9/28/1855. They had 5 sons. Carl Heinrich August 10/19/1841-1/2/1907. Malte Carl Friedrich 9/15/1845-4/22/1905. Wilhelm Carl Malte 5/2/1848. August Gottlieb Julius 7/11/1849-12/30/1934. Albert Carl Wilhelm 4/21/1853-10/28/1899.
