I found an incorrect link in my mothers genealogy that was prepared for her in 1976 by a researcher.

Other genealogy sites and programs offered some clues, but not sufficient information to make a reliable connection.

When I signed up on Geni, I found enough information to make an educated guess, but I needed conclusive evidence.

Lea Herbst then jumped in with her experience and found the documentary proof that confirmed the link, PLUS I got an education from her on how to do it for myself in the future, PLUS PLUS Lea as it turns out, is also a 7th cousin of mine.
