This week, Noah Tutak paid a visit to MyHeritage headquarters in Israel and took the opportunity to spend some time with local Geni Curators. All of the Geni Curators in Israel were invited to MyHeritage HQ for a visit and a chance to sit down with MyHeritage founder and CEO Gilad Japhet, EVP of R&D & Operations Yuval Ben-Galim, Chief Genealogist Daniel Horowitz and Noah, General Manager, USA. This also turned out to be the very first face-to-face meeting for the Curators, Shmuel Kam, Yigal Burstein, Raziel Seckbach and Ofir Friedman, too!

After a brief tour of the office, the Curator team got a chance to ask questions, voice their concerns and learn a little more about our new branch of the family. Everyone had a great time and the meeting was a huge success. Not only did the Curators get more insight into MyHeritage, but they also saw Gilad’s passion for genealogy and his enthusiasm to continue Geni’s vision of building the world family tree. All were very excited to hear about some new features in the pipeline. And according to Shmuel this experience made him say “Oh wow!” a lot.

Many thanks to the all the Curators who were able to make time in their schedules to come meet the team! And thanks to the MyHeritage office for the warm welcome to our dedicated Curators. We hope this will be the beginning of many more get-togethers. Check out more photos below!
