A.J. Jacobs is a journalist, an editor-at-large at Esquire magazine, and author of four New York Times bestsellers. You may recognize him from his book, The Year of Living Biblically: One Man’s Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible, in which he chronicles the year he attempted to follow all of the rules in the Bible. These days, he is pursuing a new challenge – a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest family reunion ever. And he’s inviting every one of his 7 billion relatives from around the world to join him and become a part of history.

Through Geni and MyHeritage, AJ has made some incredible discoveries. He has found that he is a distant cousin of Gwyneth Paltrow, Albert Einstein and many, many more in Geni’s World Family Tree of over 77 million people.

Today, we’re excited to announce a new tool on Geni to help you quickly find your relationship path to AJ – the AJ Jacobs Cousin Connector. If you’re connected to the World Family Tree, this tool will automatically calculate your relationship to AJ.
