Jack London

On January 12, 1876, American journalist and author Jack London was born in San Francisco, California. London is best remembered for his novels, Call of the Wild and White Fang, which are both set in the Klondike Gold Rush. He was one of the first fiction writers to gain worldwide celebrity and fortune from his works of fiction alone.
