Johannes Kepler

On November 15, 1630, German mathematician and astronomer Johannes Kepler died at the age of 58. A key figure of the Scientific Revolution, Kepler’s laws of planetary motion provided the foundation of future astronomic discoveries. Did you know Kepler also made significant observations in the field of optics? He is widely regarded as the first to recognize that images are projected inverted and reversed by the eye’s lens onto the retina.

Johannes Kepler is connected to over 65 million people in Geni’s World Family Tree. How are you related?
