Gymnastics is the top-rated Olympic sport in the United States. In preparation for National Gymnastics Day, which will be held this year on September 22, I am working on the Team USA Gymnasts project, which you can find at http://www.geni.com/projects/Team-USA-Gymnasts/12494

The goal of this project is to feature all American gymnasts who have been on the U.S. National Team. I am hoping that some other gymnastics fans might be interested in collaborating on it! Do you have any favorite gymnasts you'd like to see featured? Then come on over and join the fun.

So far, I have found links into the big tree for Bart Conner, Peter Glen Vidmar, Aly Raisman, and Shannon Miller -- though all could use more paths! (Especially Shannon Miller, whose current path is a bit wonky.)

I also have large trees built for Rebecca Marie Bross, McKayla Maroney (who is hopefully impressed), Chellsie Memmel, and several others. They're just looking for some extra help to get connected in.

I hope to see some new collaborators soon!

Also, fun fact: Peter Glen Vidmar and Bart Conner, who competed together on the U.S. Olympic Team in 1984, are 17th cousins thrice removed. And I bet we can get them even closer if we build up those trees!
